Top 5 Fitness Trackers 2022

When compared to a traditional wristwatch, fitness trackers are superior since they are easier to use, less expensive, and have longer-lasting batteries.

In spite of this, top-tier fitness trackers continue to include the same activity-tracking capabilities as their more pricey counterparts. While all fitness trackers measure your steps, heart rate, and activity, the latest versions also keep tabs on your sleep and stress.

While Fitbit may be the most well-known name in the fitness tracker industry, we regularly analyze products from a wide range of manufacturers and often discover that competitors give greater value, with equivalent tracking capabilities for a cheaper price. Withings, for example, produces trackers with some of the market’s finest health technology, all crammed inside devices that nevertheless appear like conventional analog wristwatches.

 Xiaomi Mi Band 7

With its attractive pricing and extensive suite of sensors for monitoring your health, fitness, and exercises, the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 is the greatest fitness tracker currently available.

The huge always-on display is a welcome feature, as it serves as a showcase for the many colorful watch faces and makes it easier to read the text at a glance. However, the always-on technology significantly reduces the battery life of the watch.

New exercise measures (such as VO2 Max) and the ability to log an unprecedented number of sessions are just some of the fitness tracking features available.

While some health and fitness junkies may be disappointed by the device’s absence of an in-built GPS, everyone else will find it to be a useful and affordable tool for monitoring their overall well-being.

Fitbit Charge 5

When shopping for an activity band, the Charge 5 is a sure bet since it is by far Fitbit’s finest tracker.

It contains most of the company’s own high-end fitness capabilities, such as Active Zone Minutes, in addition to the standard monitoring of steps, distance, calories burnt, hourly activity, heart rate, swim-tracking, and enhanced sleep.

It’s an affordable alternative to the more costly Fitbit Versa 3 smartwatch thanks to its GPS and health monitoring capabilities, but keep in mind that the most advanced tracking options are only available to subscribers of Fitbit Premium.

Withings Move

The Withings Move looks like a regular watch but has all the modern conveniences built in. Additionally, it has the durability of one, employing a regular watch battery that will last for a staggering 18 months.

The Health Mate companion app is a comprehensive activity tracker that also monitors your sleep.

Check out the Move ECG if you like the sound of the Move but want a little something more. It’s essentially the same device but for the addition of an electrocardiogram sensor.

Fitbit Inspire 3

Since it costs less than any other Fitbit device now available, the Inspire 3 is a great way to get started with fitness monitoring.

Fitbit’s software experience and ecosystem are both fantastic, so for some, spending a little more may be worth it; nevertheless, paying more for a smaller display may sting a little. Competitors include the Xiaomi Mi Band 7.

In addition to 24/7 heart rate monitoring (now enhanced by SpO2 data) and sleep tracking, you can now get up to 10 days of battery life (albeit a bit less if you activate the new always-on display option). Please note that this Fitbit does not have built-in GPS functionality and that, like with other Fitbits, you will need to subscribe to the premium service in order to access all of the device’s features and statistics.

Withings ScanWatch

The ScanWatch from Withings is an impressive hybrid tracker with a timeless look and extensive monitoring features—the only thing missing is GPS.

The name refers to the fact that it provides a more precise assessment of your heart health than any other tracker here, but at a higher price.

In addition to its fitness-tracking abilities, the inclusion of an AFib detector, a SpO2 sensor, and the detection of breathing abnormalities like sleep apnea is a nice touch, and the tiny PMOLED display adds some smartwatch-like capabilities.

ScanWatch Horizon, which costs a little more but provides the same high-quality health tracking capabilities as a rugged diving watch form factor, is a great option for those with a bit more to spend.
